One of my favorite castles from the hundreds (I guess) which I've visited across Europe is Frederiksborg Castle, an impressive Dutch Renaissance castle located in Hillerod which is actually quite close to Copenhagen. This castle is known as the Danish Versailles and it is understandable given its magnificent interiors and impressive gardens. While this castle is now a museum, Danish monarchs used to be crowned here from 1671 to 1840. Siefko and I spent our honeymoon camping across Denmark in the early summer of 2001. Lovely country and a must-see, I should say. One thing that I'd like to point out is that years later, I would find this castle as one of the places which would feature prominently in my favorite movie, "The Prince and Me" with Julia Stiles and Luke Mably. Being an incurable romantic and a royalty watcher to boot, I must have seen the movie "The Prince and Me" over a dozen times. A few of those times, I forced my husband to watch with me . Well, not a bad compromise if I also have to watch over and over again those "Back to the Future" series I. love fairy tales and the happy ever after. I believe that anyone's life can be a fairy tale with a happy ever after ending if one wills that to be. I may sound like I live in a dream world but I believe that the world is our oyster from which we can create our pearls.
