Took these pictures last week when we went out for a cycling trip in our neighborhood and ended up on a favorite farm-based cafe for some cakes and coffee. Weather was lovely although a bit chilly because it was still freezing the night before and we woke up to some coating of frost in the morning. I can say spring is here with the appearance of these crocuses that come in hues of purple, yellow, lilac and white. This is typical Dutch springtime scenery where the green patches along the road suddenly explode with spring blooms. Call it organized sequencing but as these crocuses fade away, the daffodils (narcissus as they call them here) will take its place. Tulips will follow the daffodils.
