Holland is at its prettiest in spring as the country just seems to explode in blooms. Despite having lived here for over 10 years now, I still herald the arrival of every spring with the same excitement and enthusiasm like the first time. Maybe that's because I grew up in the tropics where there is no obvious changing of the seasons and that the temperature stays mostly around 30 degrees Celsius the whole year.
One of the most beautiful and widely visited places in this country in spring is Keukenhof, the spring park whose beauty is known from both far and near. Perhaps there is no nook or corner on this park which is left untouched by photographers and visitors alike who can't resist its alluring spring blooms that come in myriad of colors.
I've been to Keukenhof almost every year and will definitely not give it a miss this year either. I'll never get tired of those tulips and daffodils, hyacinths and lilies whose beauty and charm at times render me speechless. Being here amidst all this beauty is an affirmation that the good Lord truly exists for only He can create such beauty.
